Description
When you need to look your very best now...
Learning objectives & benefits:
A fun cruise-themed show takes the audience away to ports of call to learn about portion control and making the right choices for meals
This fun cruise theme brings a great way to learn how to manage calories for easier weight control. It will have everyone entertained while they learn valuable lessons to help control their portions and their waist sizes!
First they see how measuring by eye (with Captain Eye) can get them in trouble with portion control. Valuable tips and visuals are given on portion control.
Lessons on supersizes and calories are learned from the Island of Super Sizes. They will see the difference between super sizes and regular sizes when it comes to calories.
Participants also learn from the midnight buffet that it is not always about portion control - since you eat until you feel full you have to choose the right foods. Participants will learn about calorie density. A classic example is that 2.5 ounces of fries contain the same amount of calories as 9 ounces of a baked potato with broccoli and low-fat sour cream! The pictures tell it all!
Then participants are off to the ship's kitchen to see wonderful dishes that are low in calories. For example, they can see how 1 pound of chicken and rice with vegetables is low in calories and to put that into perspective, it is far lower than 1 pound of fried chicken!!
Bon Voyage!!
